In North Port, Florida, Bob and Carol served their community and St Paul's Presbyterian Church.
Carol founded a latch-key program at St Paul's which grew into St Paul's Development Center, which still serves families.
There is also an exceptional Carol McMullen Playground which she helped established and which still bears her name.
Carol loved to entertain friends in the artfully decorated McMullen home. She made hundreds of beautiful crafts for church bazaars.
She planned and implemented enormously fun visits for her grandkids.

For years, she reached out in compassion to hurting friends and sang in the church choir. After 28 years of service in Florida, Carol and Bob, both in failing health, moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, to be near family. For her entire life, Carol brought sunshine and love to those she encountered with her effervescent, positivity and selflessness. This continued even after Alzheimer's disease robbed her of her memory. She died peacefully on November 11, 2016, leaving 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
